Nancy R. Campbell, 67, a longtime resident of Wheeling, died Thursday in McGaw Medical Center in Maywood. Mrs. Campbell was born and raised in Chicago. A homemaker, she baked wedding cakes and painted ceramics to earn money. Mrs. Campbell moved to Elgin 10 years ago. Survivors include her husband, J. Norman; a son, Donald Zeman; three daughters, Margaret Kaufman, Quentina Hayes and Patricia Horndasch; five grandchildren; a brother; and a sister. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home, followed by a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church, 930 Fulton St., Elgin.
