Albert Topp III, 62, a longtime Park Ridge resident, died Friday when he was fatally shot during a robbery at the Northwest Side currency exchange he owned and operated. A North Side native, Mr. Topp graduated from Lake View High School. He held jobs managing restaurants before opening the currency exchange, which he ran for more than 30 years. Mr. Topp is survived by a sister. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Tohle Funeral Home, 4325 W. Lawrence Ave.
