John T. Lindt, 77, a resident of Elgin for almost 50 years, died Wednesday in Alexian Brothers Hospice House in Elk Grove Village. Mr. Lindt was a retired insurance agent. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army and a captain in the Army Corps of Engineers. Survivors include his wife, Thelma; a son, John; and a brother. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 215 Thomas More Drive, Elgin.
