Mary “Mae” Jackson, 70, a retired packer with Vita Foods Products Inc., died Sept. 6 in St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. Mrs. Jackson, a native of Tunica, Miss., moved to Chicago’s West Side in 1949 and worked with Vita Foods for about 30 years. Survivors include her husband, Curtis Davis; two daughters, Delia Ward and Patricia Jackson; two sisters; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Corinthian Church of God in Christ, 4520 W. Washington Blvd.
