Daniel A. Damato, 68, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly a 30-year resident of Arlington Heights, died Tuesday. Mr. Damato was a retired vice president of a firm in the home construction industry. Survivors include his wife, Annette; three sons, Daniel M., Rocco and Phil; two daughters, Dannette Worth and Geralyn Gamades; and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Grove Memorial Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Thomas Villanova Church, 1138 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine.
