The Planning Commission has recommended final plat approval for a proposed housing development on U.S. Highway 30 west of Pfeiffer Road.

The decision is contingent on final engineering and landscape approval and on the developer Vincent Bianco designing an open space plan for a portion of the property near Charrington Drive and constructing a bike trail connection to Pfeiffer Road.

The development, Shenandoah, will be composed of duplexes. It will consist of 21 buildings and 42 units on 18 acres.

The project now goes before the Frankfort Village Board for final plat approval.
