For the second time in three weeks, a home in the 700 block of Nottingham Lane was the site of a failed arson when two Molotov cocktails were thrown at it early Sunday morning, Crystal Lake Police Lt. Howard Parth said.
On Aug. 30, the home had minor damage to the siding, a gutter and to cable and telephone wires after accelerants were placed in two locations.
In the 800 block of Canterbury Lane, the front window of a home and the rear window of a vehicle were broken early Sunday morning.
In the 300 block of Suffolk Drive, a vehicle parked in a driveway had three windows broken out. The damaged was estimated at $1,500, Parth said.
