David D. Baker, 64, of Ann Arbor, Mich., died Saturday in his home. Born in Aurora, Mr. Baker was a 1958 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Engineering. He was employed with General Motors Corp. for 10 years and with Ford Motor Co. for 24 years, retiring in 1990 as general manufacturing manager. Following retirement, Mr. Baker worked as chief operating officer of Toledo Molding and Die. Survivors include his wife, Beverly, three sons, David, Eric and Ted; a daughter, Jennifer; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Muehlig Funeral Chapel, Ann Arbor. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Westminster Presbyterian Church, Ann Arbor.
