General Binding Corp. said it acquired Visucom Australia, bought the trade name and distribution arm of Jenrite Industries, and agreed to handle Australian distribution and service of a line of automated mailing equipment made by Neopost Hadewe of France. Terms of the three transactions were withheld. Northbrook-based General Binding, which makes business machines and related supplies, had 1996 revenues of $536.8 million.
