Herbert S. Swan, 69, a resident of Barrington Hills for the past 12 years, died in his home on Sunday. Mr. Swan, who was born in Orange, N.J., and served in the Air Force from 1952 to 1956, was a marketing executive for Motorola. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; daughter, Roberta S. Robinson; a brother; and a granddaughter. Arrangements for a memorial service were pending.
