You describe former Secretary of State Alexander Haig and William Westmoreland as “retired U.S. four-star generals” (Main news, Sept. 13) Considering their position against banning land mines, it might be more up to date (and accurate!) to describe them as “currently consultants to the U.S. armaments industry.”
