Robert W. Hofmann, 64, of Spring Grove, died Wednesday in Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry. He was a 1951 graduate of Wilmot High School in Wilmot, Wis. He joined the Air Force during the Korean War. For 28 years, Mr. Hofmann worked as a chemical operator for Morton Chemical in Ringwood, retiring in 1993. He is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Esser; two sons, Charles and Edward; two grandchildren; a sister; two brothers-in-law; and a son-in-law. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home, 10011 Main St., Richmond. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.
