Florence C. Warden, 98, a resident of Wilmette and Kenilworth for over 70 years, died Aug. 18 in the Brandel Care Center, Northbrook. Mrs. Warden, a native of Racine, Wis., attended the University of Wisconsin, where she survived the great influenza epidemic of 1919, receiving her diploma in 1921. Her late husband, Sidney Warden, founded the firm of Warden, Kelley, Allen & Opfer, a Chicago-based publisher’s rep company. She is survived by two daughters, Nancie Kelley and Sally Walker; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A mass will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday Sts. Faith, Hope and Charity Catholic Church, 191 Linden St., Winnetka.
