John “Jack” O’Connor, 71, of Mt. Prospect, died Tuesday in Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. Mr. O’Connor, who was born in Chicago, served in the Navy during World War II and worked for Illinois Tool Works. He is survived by a brother and a sister. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Friday, followed by services at noon, in the Matz Funeral Home, 410 E. Rand Rd., Mt. Prospect.
