The Illinois State Board of Education placed 125 troubled schools throughout the state on its first-ever “academic early warning watch list” last week.
Schools were placed on the list because most of their students did not meet state standards on the Illinois Goal Assessment Program exams.
Of the 125 schools, 93 are in Chicago and two are in the suburbs. The following list identifies school districts and the schools on the early warning watch list.
