Marian E. Samson, 73, of Arlington Heights died Friday in her home. Born and raised in Des Plaines, Mrs. Samson worked for more than 20 years as an executive secretary at an engineering firm. Survivors include six sons, Timothy, Joseph Jr., Robert, Michael, Thomas and David; three daughters, Annette Marshall, Cathy Nolan and Patricia Kotscharjan; two sisters; a brother; two stepbrothers; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 1615 Lincoln St., Evanston. Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m.
