Feeling a little blue now that summer has ended? If you want to bask in the warmth a bit longer, come to the Adler Planetarium’s fall SunFest program on Sunday.

The celebration of the autumnal equinox at the planetarium, 1300 S. Lake Shore Drive, will blend elements of Native American, Hebrew, Aztec, Mayan, Asian and African culture and folklore.

The SunFest will also focus on how those cultures view the sky and celestial objects and interpret their effects on climate. Visitors will have an opportunity to make Mayan sun symbol necklaces and puppets, Aztec sun masks, Hebrew calendars. They can also hear storytellers spin tales of Native American, African, Central and South American and Asian sun and moon legends.

Admission is $3 for the 11 a.m. and noon sky shows. There is no additional charge for all other SunFest activities.
