Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Fans who continue to pay top dollar to see the Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks are as much to blame as team management for the miserable play on the field. Keep showing up, fans, and your darlings will continue to be mediocre at best.

People tend not to attend a play or movie when the word is that the acting is lousy, the tickets overpriced and the script poorly written. The same logic should apply in considering a professional sporting event.

Free, choice seats and a limousine to and from the event could not lure me to witness the ineptness of the above named teams. I would rather spend my time raking leaves. On the other hand, Mr. Reinsdorf, if you have a couple of extra seats at half court for the Bulls and Knicks this fall, the leaves can wait.
