Esther B. Britton, 86, of Des Plaines, formerly of Waukegan, died Wednesday in Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines. Born in Antioch, Mrs. Britton was the owner and operator of Des Plaines Quality Letters for 15 years. A member of the Soroptimist Club of Des Plaines-Chicago, she was a past president of the International Soroptimist Club of Chicago and Des Plaines. She was a member of the Episcopal Church Womens Club of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church. Survivors include her son, Leonard; a daughter, Ida Mae; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 1095 Thacker St., Des Plaines.
