Herbert A. Kamin, 73, a resident of Schaumburg for 16 years, died Saturday in the Hoffman Estates Medical Center. Born in Chicago, Mr. Kamin was a retired auto mechanic. He was a World War II veteran of the Army and a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 981 in Arlington Heights. Survivors include his wife, Del; three daughters, Margie Myers, Bonnie Heinrich and Gale Matthews; a brother; and five grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg.
