John Siamas, 42, owner of Johnny’s Diner on North Central Avenue in Chicago, died Sunday of gunshot wounds from a shooting near North and Central Avenues. A native of Greece, he came to the United States in 1965 and settled in Chicago. He owned Johnny’s Diner in the 4400 block of North Central Avenue in Chicago. Survivors include his parents, Panagiotis and Eleni Siamas; his grandmother, Evangelia Skoufos; and a sister, Stamatia. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Adinamis Funeral Home, 4700 N. Western Ave. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2727 W. Winona St., Chicago.
