Richard Hal Betterly, 67, of Mt. Prospect died Sunday in the Hospice of the Northshore at Evanston Hospital. Mr. Betterly, who was born in Chicago, was head usher at the Northwest Assembly of God and a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Mary L.; three sons, Rick, Rodney and Victor; eight grandchildren; and a sister. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, in the Northwest Assembly of God church, 900 N. Wolf Rd., Mt. Prospect.
