James C. Johnson, 66, a Wheaton resident since 1980, died Sept. 19 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Born in Red Wing, Minn., Mr. Johnson was a U.S. Army veteran and longtime employee of IBM. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, where he sang in the choir, and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Survivors include his wife, Gretchen; two sons, Bruce and Eric; and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 N. West St., Wheaton.
