Rich Strom’s adept assessment of Bob Probert being a proficient enforcer (Tribune, Sept. 20) is indisputable. He’s also a talented hockey player deserving physical reinforcement from teammates.
The Hawks must recognize the myriad assets of Probert and acquire an intimidating player capable of alleviating the burden constantly deferred to the besieged Probert. He merits extra shifts to exhibit his other skills.
