William J. Brunk, 82, of Northbrook died Friday in the Abington of Glenview nursing home. A native of Canada, Mr. Brunk was raised in Chicago and later made his home in Park Ridge and Northbrook. A World War II veteran, he flew missions over the Pacific, according to his daughter Pamela Brunk. Mr. Brunk spent his professional life in the printing ink business and was past president of Sleight & Hellmuth Printing Ink Co. Other survivors include his wife, Irene; two daughters, Karen Staker and Kimberly Keefe; a son, Craig; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 205 N. Prospect Ave., Park Ridge. Services will follow the visitation.
