CBOT plan faces problem: The Commodity Futures Trading Commission said it may reject the Chicago Board of Trade’s plan to list the exchange’s March 1999 corn and January 1999 soybean futures contracts because of a disagreement over the grain delivery points for the contracts. In a notice published in Tuesday’s Federal Register, the CFTC said it’s seeking public comment through Oct. 22 on whether the March 1999 corn and January 1999 soybean contracts should be disapproved and altered.
