Earl W. Mathis, 88, of Arlington Heights died Saturday in Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. Born in Chicago, Mr. Mathis was a retired banker. Survivors include his wife, Elva; a son, Robert; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights.
