Megen B. and Megan G., both 13, of Park Ridge are hooked on the daytime soap opera “All My Children.” But their friendship goes deeper. Megen says Megan “stood up for me” when a bunch of kids TPed her house.
Erica S. and Gina T., both 11, of Villa Park play in the school band. Erica plays oboe, Gina plays trombone. The key to their friendship? A shared obsession with “chocolate-chip cookie dough ice cream,” Erica says.
Liz D., 14, and Susan B., 13, of Evanston have been best friends since 2nd grade. “We share the same interests,” Liz says. One biggie? Both are into anything “Star Trek.” “We love to go to Viacom,” Liz says.
Sarah O., 11, and Tara R., 12, of Worth have been best buds since kindergarten. Although they both like soccer and horseback riding, “we’re total opposites,” Sarah says. “She has blue eyes, I have brown eyes. She loves ferrets, I love raccoons.” Still, somehow they never run out of things to talk about.
