James A. Sandock, 66, of Wheeling, died Friday in his home. Born in Chicago, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a purchasing agent in the fire protection industry. He is survived by his wife, Frances; a son, Scott; two daughters, Linda LaBrasca and Sandra Vitullo; a stepson, James Mendralla; three stepdaughters, Susan Anderson, Carolyn Costa and Cathy Burr; his mother, Genevieve Jennings; seven grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
