I’m very happy to hear that scientists can’t get enough funds in order to supposedly save these “three-horned wartyback mussels” discussed in your Sept. 22 article by Peter Kendall (Page 1). To me, it shows that our society is finally starting to value human beings over and above animals and funneling money to help people rather than the overfunded, bleeding-heart liberal environmentalist movement. I’ve been hoping for this to happen for a long time.
