Nick F. Caprio, 80, of Woodstock died Saturday in Memorial Medical Center. He was the Public Works commissioner in Franklin Park for 27 years, retiring in 1987. He moved to Woodstock in 1988 and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Helen; three sons, Michael, Richard and Ronald; a daughter, Maryann Wiszowaty; a sister; a brother; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in the Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Ave., Woodstock.
