A Cary woman has been charged with battery after she allegedly bit her taxicab driver. Patricia M. Silverstein, 29, of 748 Bayberry Drive was charged by Cary police after the cabdriver for the Crystal Lake Cab Co. took his fare to the police station, 255 Stonegate Rd., Thursday.
The driver alleged Silverstein crawled on him and bit his neck, Cary Police Chief Robert Levitt said.
The driver, who said Silverstein also scratched his arm, had picked up his passenger at Kelsey Roadhouse in Barrington. Silverstein had asked to be driven to her Cary home.
