Amelia Shepler, 96, a 20-year resident of Clearwater, Fla. and a former resident of unincorporated Palatine, died in her home in Clearwater on Saturday. Mrs. Shepler was born in New Britain, Conn. She is survived by a daughter, Lorraine Johnson; a sister; a brother; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Rd., Park Ridge, followed by a mass at 10 a.m. in Mary, Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church, Cumberland Avenue and Granville Street, Park Ridge.
