John P. O’Boyle, 83, a resident of Des Plaines for 62 years, died in his home Saturday. Mr. O’Boyle, who was born in Chicago, worked in sales for 26 years at Sears in Des Plaines and at Woodfield Mall, and later at Osco Drug. He is survived by his wife, Mellie; a son, John M.; two brothers; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Oehler Funeral Home, 555 Lee St., Des Plaines.
