Bert C. Wahlberg, 86, of Elgin died Tuesday in Beloit, Wis., where he was visiting family. Born in Wakefield, Mich., Mr. Wahlberg was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Elgin American Legion, the Elgin Bible Church and the Elgin Garden Club. He is survived by a sister and three brothers. Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Monday until the service, at 3:30 p.m. in the Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin.
