Lemuel A. Ervin, 73, of Lancaster, Pa., formerly of Wheaton, died Sunday in the home of his stepson in Lancaster. Mr. Ervin was a Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, serving as a P-51 pilot with the Pioneer Mustang Group. He retired in 1994 as a master craftsman in the gravure department at R.R. Donnelley and Sons. He was a past master of Mason Lodge 269 and a past commander of VFW Post 2164, both in Wheaton. Survivors include three sons, Garry, Terry and Lemuel A.; a daughter, Linda; and a stepson, Ronald. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton.
