I was heartbroken to see the picture of Katherine Lund Hicks on your front page (“Traumatized by the IRS,” Sept. 25). She was very courageous to go through the additional ordeal of testifying before Congress after what the IRS did to her.
I am deeply troubled that the individuals who testify before Congress can be subject to IRS retaliation, have their homes seized, their bank accounts frozen and their lives placed in turmoil.
