George Sebela, 82, of Libertyville, died Monday at the Winchester House nursing home in Libertyville. Mr. Sebela was a native of Posen and had also lived in Lake Villa, Gurnee and Austin, Texas. Mr. Sebela was in the Army Air Corps during World War II, and served in the Pacific theater. He retired from the accounting department of Verako Products in Gurnee in 1980. Survivors include his daughter, Janis McKnight; a sister; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were held Thursday in Libertyville.
