Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Phil Rogers deserves an excellent grade for his review of the White Sox players (Tribune, Sept. 22). However, his analysis was weak when it came to two individuals’ performances: Terry Bevington and Albert Belle.
Bevington received a C? Incredible. He demonstrated ineptitude in lineups, bullpen and strategy. He blew more games than he won. He is a D at best.
Belle a C? This is a real corker. He did not earn his paycheck. He is marginal on defense and did not perform at the plate. He is a multiyear, multimillion-dollar bust.
