Margaret M. Gansbergen, 94, a retired vice president of the First National Bank of Chicago Heights and a former resident of Homewood, died Tuesday in Mt. Angel, Ore. Mrs. Gansbergen grew up in Steger before moving to Homewood. She lived in Mt. Angel for the past five years. Mrs. Gansbergen began working in the banking industry in the 1930s as a stenographer, and she worked her way up to the executive ranks, spending most of her career with First National. Survivors include a sister. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday in Tews Funeral Home, 18230 S. Dixie Highway, Homewood. Mass will be said at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Church, 17951 Dixie Highway, Homewood.
