Barry L. Daniel, 65, a former Chicago jeweler, died of cancer Saturday in a hospice on Marco Island, Fla., where he had lived for 10 years. Born in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., he attended George Washington University. Mr. Daniel served in the Army after World War II before getting into the jewelry business. He was president of the Chicago Golden Roosters, a jewelry organization. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; two children, Kenneth and Cindy Bear; and two grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 N. Gross Point Rd., Skokie.
