LeRoy O. Pomplun, 72, of Palatine, died Saturday in the Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno, Ill. Born in Elk Grove Village, he served in the Army and was a computer technician at Unisys Corporation for 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary; a son, Rick; two brothers; and two sisters. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1138 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine.
