Chicago sells itself short!

As a visitor from England, I have been discovering the delights of your city. But literature and even postcards seem to stress the business and commercial aspects of Chicago.

May I suggest more appealing aspects? The leafy, litter-free streets, flower beds planted with complementary colors, the river and turquoise blue lake. All this plus the lack of graffiti make this one of the most lovely cities I have stayed in. Courteous and friendly people have ensured that I shall return.
