Wallace W. Straub, 77, a resident of Elgin, died Saturday in the Sherman West Court nursing home, Elgin. Born in Hoffman Estates, Mr. Straub, was a retired truck driver for Ludwig Milk Co. and Sirek Construction Co. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, Local 673. Survivors include his wife, Caroline; a brother; and a sister. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. Tuesday until the time of services at 6 p.m. in Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin.
