Joseph Antos, 83, of Big Rock, died Tuesday in his home. Described as a Renaissance man by family and friends, Mr. Antos was an engineer, inventor, adventurer, photographer and filmmaker. Survivors include his wife, Rose; two sons, Joseph and David; two daughters, Linda Louise Petritsch and Virginia Lee Altenberger; and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel, 141 N. Maple St., Hinckley. Services will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
