Charlotte E. Collins, 87, of Elgin died Wednesday in Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. Mrs. Collins worked for Western Electric Co. of Chicago and retired in 1973. Survivors include four daughters, Charlotte Ruder, Patricia Stanisz, MaryLu Crosby and Susan Stanisz; a son, John L. Collins III; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mass was said Saturday.
