The Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria will lead a voyage of historic discovery Monday in Chicago’s 45th annual Columbus Day Parade.

Three floats depicting Columbus’ three ships will lead the two-hour parade, which will include marching bands and more than 200 floats. Mayor Richard Daley and Gov. Jim Edgar and Consul General of Italy Pasquale D’Avino are scheduled to attend.
