Michael Gentile, 65, of Elk Grove Village and formerly a Skokie resident for 32 years, died Friday in the University of Chicago Hospital. Mr. Gentile, who was born in Chicago, was a civil engineer who retired after 35 years with Metropolitan Water Reclamation District. He is survived by his wife, Katherine T.; two daughters, Mary Kirmess and Lisa; two sons, John and Michael; his mother, Carmella; and three grandchildren. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Julian Eymard Catholic Church, 601 Biesterfield Rd., Elk Grove Village.
