Residential Homes of America has opened sales at Brookhaven, a community planned for 68 single-family homes in north suburban Green Oaks.

Six floor plans are being offered ranging from 2,400 to 3,500 square feet and priced from $274,990 to $351,490. They feature four or five bedrooms, 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 baths, family room, basement, and attached two-car garage.

Standard amenities include ceramic tile in foyers, island kitchens, dens, volume ceilings and master suites with private baths and walk-in closets.

The community is located just west of Interstate 94/294 (Tri-State Tollway) at the Illinois Route 137/Buckley Road exit.

Sales hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

– Sales are under way for lots at White Hawk Country Club, a golf course community planned for 230 single-family homes and 96 maintenance-free golf villas in Crown Point, Ind.

Lots range from $60,000 to $90,000 and home-plus-lot packages are priced from $300,000. Two- and three-bedroom golf villas are available from $139,000 to $174,000 and range from 1,380 to 2,200 square feet.

Ranch homes to be built at the community must have at least 2,000 square feet and two-story homes 2,500 square feet. Natural wood or brick exterior finishes are also required on all White Hawk homes.

– LakeShore Development & Construction Co. has introduced Heritage Place, planned for 72 single-family homes in Chicago’s Avalon Park. The community is adjacent to an existing townhouse development at 1133 E. 83rd St.

Four floor plans are priced from $159,900 to $184,900 and offer two or three bedrooms, 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths. The designs range from 1,610 to 1,838 square feet and offer standard attached two-car garages and family rooms.

All homes will have brick front facades with stone enhancements and some plans have a two-story bay window and sliding French doors off the living room.

Sales hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

LakeShore is also offering at least $12,000 in incentives and discounts to the first 10 buyers at Heritage Place.

– Terrestris Development Co. is closing out two of its communities–Hilldale Green in Hoffman Estates and Victoria Meadows in Oswego–with special incentives.

Hilldale Green is an 86-home single-family community adjacent to the public 18-hole Hilldale Green Golf Club. It has two lots and four spec homes remaining for sale. The spec homes, which are available for immediate occupancy, have been discounted up to $11,199.

One of the plans is the 2,214-square-foot Manchester with three bedrooms, a bonus room, 2 1/2 baths, two-car garage, and English basement with deck. It is priced at $299,200.

Victoria Meadows, a community of 116 duplexes, has three models and four spec homes left for sale. The models include one Alexis plan, one Caroline and a Susan. Priced from $117,510, the plans range from 1,733 to 2,107 square feet and feature two bedrooms, two baths, and a two-car garage.

Hilldale Green is located at Higgins Road and Huntington Boulevard. Victoria Meadows is located at Ogden Avenue (Illinois Route 34) and Douglas Road.

– Preconstruction sales are under way at the Vanguard Lofts, a 100-unit development at 1250 W. Van Buren St.on Chicago’s Near West Side.

Preconstruction prices range from $99,900 to $219,900 in the timber post and beam loft building. Plans call for 10 residences on the first floor, and 15 units each on floors two through seven.

Floor plans offer one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, and two-bedroom residences with one or two baths and 758 to 1,272 square feet.

The lofts’ standard features include wood columns, ceilings and floors, exposed brick walls, wood doors and trim, new windows, fireplaces and balconies in units above the first floor.

A decorated 868-square-foot model with one bedroom will open for viewing in mid-November.

Vanguard Lofts will have parking for 107 cars, including seven guest spaces. Sixty-two spaces will be in a new two-story garage adjoining the building. Indoor parking is $15,000 per space, and outdoor parking ranges from $7,500 to $11,000.

The building also features individual storage lockers and bicycle storage.

– Preconstruction sales are under way at the 58-unit Tandem Lofts at Bicycle Station, 1631 S. Michigan Ave.

Half of the residences will be classic lofts with exposed brick walls and spiral ducts in the vintage section of the 1920s building. The remaining residences on the top three floors of the building will be newly constructed with private terraces.

Designed by architectural firm DeStefano & Partners, the floor plans, ranging from about 700 to 1,400 square feet, will feature one or two bedrooms and are priced from $98,900 to $209,900.

Parking for 42 cars will be provided in a heated indoor garage on the ground floor of the building, along with first-floor commercial space. Another 18 outdoor parking spaces will be included in the development.

– Sales at Citadel on the Rock Run have reached nearly 50 percent of the 52 town homes planned for the Joliet development by Colony Builders of Will County.

Thirteen town home buildings are clustered to have the appearance of large custom homes.

Two decorated model homes are open for viewing: The Larkspur, with attached two-car garage, is based-priced from $122,900 and has two bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths in its 1,512 square feet.

The home’s two-story living room adjoins a dining room. The family room opens to the kitchen and breakfast room. A third bedroom or loft is optional.

The Aster is an upper-level ranch plan with 1,535 square feet. Base-priced from $123,900, the single-level plan includes two bedrooms, two baths and an attached two-car garage. A third bedroom or den is also an option here.

Buyers can customize the floor plans by adding square footage, screened porches and luxury baths, among other features.

Five floor plans are offered, ranging in size from 1,294 to 1,689 square feet and are based-priced from $115,900 to $135,900. Association fees range from $70 to $80 a month.

To visit the development at 1300 Citadel Drive, Joliet, take Interstate Highway 55 to U.S. Highway 30, east one mile to Hennipen Road, west to Essington Road, then left two miles to the sales office. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
