Tess Arenson, 89, a homemaker, died Wednesday in Hospice of the North Shore in Evanston. Before she was married, Mrs. Arenson, a lifelong resident of Chicago, worked for Sears, Roebuck and Co. for about 10 years to help her family with household expenses. She is survived by a daughter, Diann Horwich; a son, Robert; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Friday in Arlington Heights.
